Right from the start, Haajera’s passion and love for fabrics and fashion trends led her interest in the world of couture, where the specific choice of fabrics, textures, colors, and weights of fabric in garment styling and creation is an art form in itself. With her natural and friendly way with people, it soon became her dream to launch her own business where she could stock the beautiful and luxurious fabrics that held her fascination while working one-on-one with her customers.
Together with her husband, Ahmed, who brought 20 years of experience in the retail textile industry to the project, the dream slowly became a reality, and in 2016, the doors of the business finally opened to the public.
LaFabrica is now a game-changer in terms of fabric stockists, offering customers a unique and refreshing buying experience with extensive ranges of exquisite luxury fabraics, laces, and trimmings. As importers of all fabric types, they are able to offer highly affordable and competitive prices while ensuring the selection follows the very latest international fashion trends. The suit hire division was added in 2017, to provide a full-service offering to customers, and carries top-quality suits for men and boys, for every occasion.
